Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals, snacks, and beverages to residents in our skilled nursing facility

• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the dietary department, adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines

• Assist with food preparation, including cooking, baking, and plating, as needed

• Deliver meals to residents in their rooms or other designated areas, ensuring excellent customer service and attention to resident needs

• Participate in menu planning and inventory management, ensuring accurate and efficient food storage and rotation

• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure seamless food service operations

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary arts or related experience preferred

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
