Middle School Social Studies Teacher

School Faculty - Middle - St. Lawrence Catholic School St. Lawrence Catholic School in North Miam Beach, Florida has an opening for a MS Social Studies Teacher for the upcoming 2026- 27 school year. This teacher is one who is passionate about teaching children and will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school students. The candidate performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience. Qualifications: BS / BA Degree in Social Studies Education or related field. Florida Department of Education Teacher certification in Social Sciences (History) 5-9 or Social Sciences K-12 is required, or is in the process of applying (considered with statement of eligibility). Strong presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies. Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
