Onsite Human Resource (HR) Generalist

Magnum Electric Inc is hiring an onsite Human Resource (HR) Generalist to support a large, fast-paced project in Ellendale, North Dakota. This role serves as the primary HR contact for employees and project leadership, with day-to-day focus on employee relations, onboarding, compliance support, workforce communication, and field workforce HR assistance. Role Overview In this full-time, onsite position, you will help ensure HR processes run smoothly for a field-based team. The onsite HR lead will manage essential personnel documentation, support onboarding and offboarding activities, and partner with project leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and field support needs. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary onsite HR point of contact for employees and project leadership Support employee onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork Assist with workforce communication, policy administration, and general employee support Help manage attendance-related processes, workforce tracking, and general personnel documentation Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is completed correctly Partner with project leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and field support requirements Address employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner Support onsite policy enforcement and maintain consistent HR practices Assist with offboarding, employee status changes, and other HR processes as needed Contribute to a positive, professional, team-oriented work environment Required Qualifications Previous HR experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality Ability to work independently while also supporting project leadership and field teams Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer-based administrative tasks Education: Associate Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in construction, industrial, or field-based environments preferred Bilingual is a plus, but not required Technology Microsoft Office Compensation and Work Location Location: Onsite in Ellendale, ND (in person) Job type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Magnum Electric Inc
