Assembly Technician

Assembly TechnicianOur Assembly Technician is a key role in our Distribution team. In this role, you would be responsible for the assembly and testing of hydraulic systems including; valves, pumps, motors, PTO's, and other products sold by FORCE America. Due to the variety of components and variation of builds, unique assembly abilities are needed.FORCE America has been an employee-owned hydraulic manufacturer and distributor for over 70 years. FORCE America employs experienced design engineers, knowledgeable support staff and skilled production teams to ensure quality and service.Responsibilities:Assemble fundamental components in accordance with the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.Tests all assembled systems for standard expectations of quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly.Maintains system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.Maintain safe and orderly work area.Participate in the implementation of process improvements.Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.Participate as a team member to achieve goals.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude.Familiarity with hand and power tools.Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.Customer focused.Benefits:Health insuranceHealth savings accountFlexible spending accountDental insuranceVision insurance401(k)401(k) matchingPaid time offLife insuranceReferral programSchedule:5 - 8-hour days.Working Hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday.Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential job functions of this job.
