Mechanical/Technical Designer (Latham NY)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D model designer with expertise in Autodesk Inventor or equivalent solid modeling software. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting standards, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, solid modeling design & project management

Your role:

• Create/revise complex 3D models & drawings of assemblies & piece parts in Autodesk Inventor.

• Utilize a working knowledge of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing to communicate requirements & design intent.

• Gather technical inputs cross-functionally while using clear & concise written documentation skills to both relay and record technical information.

You're the right fit if:

• You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in complex 3D modeling, detailed technical drawings, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, project management fundamentals and strong written communication skills.

• Your skills include 3D modeling (Autodesk Inventor preferred), technical drafting, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing. Bonus if you have experience with project management and/or coding skills.

• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

• You’re a highly organized & detail-oriented team player with a strong emphasis on creative problem solving.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in (NY) is $30.00/hr-$47.00/hr

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
