Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practices set by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Minimum experience and qualifications: Minimum 2 years RN experience. Strongly preferred 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN. Clinical skills appropriate to the position. Interpersonal skills. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. RN (Registered Nurse) license. ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department. Preferred Nurse Specialty. Associate’s Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor’s Nursing preferred). Preferred experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
