Why This Role Stands Out Lead large-scale EPC substation projects valued in the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars Drive projects that directly support grid modernization and renewable energy integration Partner with engineering, procurement, construction, and utility customers across North America Own project performance from kickoff through final delivery Join a globally recognized leader shaping the future of sustainable energy Receive full relocation support to Raleigh, NC , one of the fastest-growing technology and energy hubs in the country How You'll Make an Impact Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex EPC substation and grid integration projects Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risk, and customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle Drive coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and supply chain teams Maintain project financial performance, including forecasting, cash flow, revenue recognition, and profitability Utilize Earned Value Management and key performance metrics to drive execution excellence Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary escalation point for project delivery Support contract negotiation, change order management, claims mitigation, and commercial strategy Provide executive-level reporting and communication to stakeholders Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations, procedures, and quality standards Your Background We're especially interested in leaders who have successfully delivered large utility, transmission, or substation EPC programs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field 8+ years of project management experience in complex industrial, utility, infrastructure, or EPC environments Demonstrated experience leading high-voltage substation projects, transmission projects, or utility-scale EPC programs Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, contract management, and risk mitigation Experience managing customer relationships on large capital projects Prior people leadership experience within a matrixed or multinational organization preferred PMP certification preferred Strong technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities Must have authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Location & Relocation This role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina .
