Tool & Die Maker – Manpower Manpower is currently partnering with a major manufacturing company in the Marston, MO, area and they are looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join their dynamic production team. In this position, you will be responsible for operating machining tools to build or repair precision metal and tools that meet precise specification, using technical drawing and by setting up and operating of a wide variety of machine tool equipment. This is a direct hire position that is available immediately. Job Title: Tool & Die Maker Location: Marston MO Pay Rate Range: $30/hour + OT Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday. What’s the Job? Analyze specification charts, samples, and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements for completing the assigned task; Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications; Measuring and marking raw materials needed to manufacture parts; Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan; Operating equipment to carry out each step correctly; Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise; Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects; Maintaining equipment located throughout the machine shop; Experience operating end mills and lathes; Layout required tooling for purchase; Maintain housekeeping of the machining area to company standards; Clean all equipment pieces daily; Able to work some weekends as plant needs arise; Flexible to work over during the workweek to complete tasks. What’s Needed? High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with job experience doing machining maintenance. What’s in it for me?
