Florida Mechanical System is looking for a skilled Crane Operator to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL! Responsibilities:

• Operate cranes and heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently on job sites
• Inspect crane equipment before and after each shift to ensure proper working condition
• Interpret load charts, rigging plans, and site blueprints to execute lifts accurately
• Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors during lifting operations
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times
• Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate daily logs of crane operations and equipment inspections

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or mechanical setting
• Valid NCCCO certification or equivalent crane operator certification required 
• Strong knowledge of rigging, load capacities, and safe lifting practices
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, site plans, and blueprints
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and jobsite safety standards
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
