Radiologist

Job Responsibilities

Overnight Emergency and Critical Care Pediatric Radiologist. This position is available as remote or hybrid and requires an ABR/AOBR‑certified or eligible radiologist with pediatric fellowship training.

The Department of Radiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is a Level One trauma center with one of the busiest pediatric emergency departments in the country. Imaging studies at night come from:

• Two emergency departments
• Five urgent care centers
• The 762‑bed inpatient hospital system

The case mix ranges from basic outpatient radiographic diagnoses to complex cross‑sectional imaging on tertiary and quaternary referral patients.

Overnight shifts are covered by two faculty radiologists working together. Preferred candidates should have solid skills in all aspects of pediatric radiology, strong clinical and interpersonal skills, and a desire to collaborate with clinicians to deliver optimal imaging care.

The schedule can be full‑time overnights (one week on, two weeks off) or a hybrid day/night schedule (one week of day shifts, one week of night shifts, two weeks off). Candidates should be prepared to contribute to the academic and educational missions of pediatric emergency and critical care imaging.

Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Clinicians may be asked to work at additional locations outside the Burnet Campus.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent
• Unrestricted licensed physician
• Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
• Completion of all required pre‑employment activities
• Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility
• Preferred: Board certification in radiology (ABR)
