Customer Service Technician

Location: Richmond, VA Pay Rate: $18.75–$26.44/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Duration: 11 months Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Onsite Service Technician to provide equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support. This position requires strong electro-mechanical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently at customer locations. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment. Respond to service calls and resolve issues within required service levels. Use electrical and mechanical knowledge to diagnose equipment problems. Maintain equipment and supply inventories. Keep customers informed about equipment status and availability. Provide excellent customer service and serve as the primary onsite contact. Complete service calls independently and accurately. Provide basic equipment training to customers as needed. Follow all required safety procedures. Qualifications Electro-mechanical troubleshooting or repair experience. Experience using a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical circuits. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. Related experience may include HVAC, cable/internet technician, electrician, automotive mechanic, equipment repair, or military technical experience. Strong time management and reliability. Valid driver's license, appropriate auto insurance, and clean driving history. Ability to work independently and meet service deadlines. Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk, stand, squat, and bend throughout the workday. Ability to drive for more than 50% of the workday.
