Creative Director/Sr Creative Director

Lowe’s is seeking a Creative Director/Sr Creative Director based in Mooresville, NC to lead the creative work that brings integrated campaigns to life across channels. In this onsite role, you will set creative direction for a global marketing creative team while guiding internal and external partners through end-to-end concepting and production. You will be responsible for establishing creative strategy and vision, managing execution through an internal production studio, and overseeing a production budget of approximately $50MM . Your leadership will connect brand representation, content production services, and scalable workflows so teams can deliver original creative concepts with consistent quality. Key Responsibilities Lead an in-house creative team that includes Enterprise Signage, Brand Advertising (TV), Copy and Design Studio, plus an outside creative agency. Deliver improved production processes designed to reduce production costs while maintaining quality, demonstrating the ability to innovate, experiment, learn, and scale effective ideas. Lead and shape the creation and strategic vision of video, photo, AI, and CGI content production services. Run brainstorming sessions and creative reviews to generate insights and ideas that influence creative concepts. Strategically manage Lowe’s brand representation to customers, including tonality , brand character , and brand guidelines leveraged across Private Brands, external vendors, internal communication, and external communication. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into creative strategies and assets through the Lowe’s Internal Creative Studio. Bid and negotiate with production vendors, and facilitate SOWs as well as relevant business affairs, legal, and talent matters. Drive innovation by encouraging new ideas and new formats within the team. Partner with capacity and portfolio planning to assess and monitor internal team capacity and agency resources to ensure project viability and feasibility. Identify emerging issues that could impact projects, recommend solutions or improvements, and help prevent repeat issues in future execution. Mentor creative staff through critique of their work, supporting consistent creative quality and contributing to traffic to stores and the website. Requirements 5+ years of experience. 10-12 years in a creative leadership role. 5 years as a creative leader on the brand/client side, preferably in retail. Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, or another advertising-related field, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement.
