Position: Billing Coordinator Location: Atlantic City, NJ Pay Rate: $20-25/hr Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We're actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Billing Coordinator to join our team in Atlantic City, NJ! Job Description:- We are seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator to manage client file setup, electronic billing, and reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies. This full-time, onsite role requires prior law firm billing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff.
- Perform conflict checks and obtain approvals for new file openings in compliance with firm policies
- Open, maintain, and update client files and data in the billing system with a high level of accuracy
- Monitor unbilled time and disbursements to ensure timely and accurate billing
- Manage electronic billing processes across multiple client platforms
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to resolve billing questions, discrepancies, and disputes
- Generate weekly, monthly, and month-end billing reports and assist with closing processes
- Handle high-volume billing data entry while maintaining detailed documentation
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients regarding billing matters
- Monday - Friday : 9am-5pm
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of billing experience in a law firm environment preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using SurePoint LMS+ required; NetDocs experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals
