Machine Maintenance TechnicianThe Machine Maintenance Technician supports the reliability and uptime of production equipment by performing hands-on mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are open to training the right person and is willing to consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including industrial maintenance, warehouse/distribution maintenance, diesel mechanics, and other mechanically inclined trades.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, hoses, and cylinders.Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, including air cylinders, valves, and pumps.Replace and maintain bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, rollers, and other mechanical components.Perform MIG and TIG welding repairs as needed.Document repairs, work orders, and parts usage in SAP and other maintenance systems.Follow safety procedures while working on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to quickly learn new equipment and adapt to a variety of machines and systems.Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.Willingness to learn and work with automated equipment.Why Work Here?You will join a stable organization that invests in long-term employee growth through yearly raises and ongoing skill development. Tools are provided, and the environment supports continuous learning and hands-on problem solving in an industrial setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $73112.00 - $81120.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
