About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years current Cath Lab Tech experience License: BLS Certifications: ARRT (R), RCIS or RCES Must-Have: Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered for the role. Minimum 6 months current Cath Lab Tech experience. BLS certification is required. ARRT (R) certification is mandatory. RCIS or RCES certification is needed. Candidates with RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado before starting work. Description: Travel opportunity available for a Cath Lab Tech. The position involves working in a Cath Lab setting. The unit consists of 8 holding bays and 4 Cath/EP suites. There are 16 staff members in the department. Day shift hours are 6:30 to 5:30. Night shift involves a rotating on-call schedule. Patient care ratios are 3 staff members to 1 patient in the Cath Lab procedural area. Type of equipment includes Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, and CardioLab for EP. The EMR system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include LHC, RHC, EP ablations, Pacers, ICDs, Cardioversions, TEE, and Tilt Table Tests. Skills in EP, Structural Heart, and Right Heart monitoring are required. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. They should be committed to providing high-quality patient care. The call schedule rotates with two weekends and 9-12 days of call in a 6-week period.
