QMS Documentation Project Manager — Program Governance & Quality Systems Location: Columbia, MO (on-site / hybrid) Duration: 13 weeks Project Overview Our client, a Fortune 500 medical device company, is undertaking a strategic initiative to evaluate, redesign, and optimize the training framework at its Columbia, MO manufacturing site. The project's goal is to improve training effectiveness, increase operator flexibility across work areas, reduce certification cycle time, and strengthen overall employee competency. We are seeking experienced consultants to support this initiative across program management, training design, and documentation execution. Position Summary The QMS Documentation Project Manager will serve as the senior program lead for the training framework transformation, bringing deep quality systems and documentation remediation expertise. This individual will own the overall project governance, ensure alignment with quality management system (QMS) requirements, and drive the successful harmonization and migration of training and SOP documentation across the manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary program lead for the training framework evaluation, redesign, and optimization initiative. Apply quality systems and documentation remediation expertise to assess current-state training and SOP documentation against QMS requirements. Lead SOP harmonization and document migration efforts across manufacturing work areas, ensuring consistency, version control, and regulatory readiness. Own change control processes related to training and documentation updates, including impact assessments and approval workflows. Establish and govern training governance structures, ensuring certification and competency requirements are traceable and audit-ready. Partner with Training Transformation Lead and Training Documentation Specialist to align deliverables, timelines, and quality standards. Provide regular status reporting to site quality and operations leadership, flagging risks and resourcing needs. Support internal and external audit readiness for all training and documentation deliverables produced under this project. Required Qualifications Demonstrated background in quality systems and documentation remediation within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharma, or similar). Proven experience leading SOP harmonization and document migration programs at scale. Strong working knowledge of change control processes and training governance frameworks. Prior experience as a Quality Engineer (QE), Quality Systems Manager (QSM), or Document Control Manager, or equivalent leadership role. Familiarity with FDA QSR/21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, or equivalent medical device quality regulations. Strong program management skills, including planning, risk management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination. Preferred Qualifications PMP or equivalent project management certification. Experience with electronic QMS/document control platforms (e.g., MasterControl, Veeva, TrackWise). Prior consulting or client-facing project delivery experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Brooksource
