OT - Occupational Therapist

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, with expectations to work 3 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule. Job Description The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation services in an acute care setting. The position requires a well-rounded practitioner experienced in a variety of patient diagnoses such as cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, and other medical conditions. The successful candidate will engage in developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient recovery. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Provide patient and family education on rehabilitation techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Document all patient care activities effectively using the charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required. First-time travelers must have at least 3 years of relevant experience. ICU experience is highly preferred. Current CA license and BLS certification are required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
