Continental Cleaning is a growing residential cleaning company seeking experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented residential cleaners to join our team.

We are currently hiring for both W-2 employee positions and 1099 independent contractor opportunities , depending on qualifications, experience, availability, and the nature of the working relationship.

This position is intended for experienced residential cleaning professionals. Applicants should have direct experience consistently cleaning residential homes as part of their regular workload. Occasional one-off cleaning jobs or primarily commercial/janitorial experience alone will not be considered equivalent to residential cleaning experience.

We're looking for professionals who understand the expectations of recurring residential clients and know how to consistently deliver a high-quality cleaning experience.

Our Service Area

Continental Cleaning serves customers throughout the Greater Philadelphia suburbs, South Jersey, and the Wilmington, Delaware area.

Our primary service territory includes:

• Pennsylvania – Philadelphia Suburbs: Montgomery, Bucks, Berks, Delaware, and Chester Counties
• New Jersey – South Jersey: Communities throughout our South Jersey service territory
• Delaware: Wilmington and surrounding New Castle County communities

You do not need to work throughout our entire service area. Applicants can indicate the counties and communities they are willing to service. We aim to match cleaners with jobs based on location, availability, qualifications, and customer demand.

What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality residential cleaning services
• Provide excellent customer service
• Arrive on time and prepared for appointments
• Follow customer preferences and cleaning instructions
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail
• Communicate professionally with customers and Continental Cleaning
• Report damages, problems, or customer concerns promptly
• Take before/after photos when required
• Treat every customer's home with care and respect
• Work independently or alongside other Continental Cleaning professionals depending on the size and requirements of the job
• Collaborate professionally with other cleaners when assigned to team-based cleaning jobs

Applicants must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a cleaning team. Larger homes, deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, and other jobs may require two or more cleaning professionals working together.

Experience Requirements

2+ years of residential cleaning experience preferred.

Applicants should have direct, hands-on residential cleaning experience and a history of maintaining a consistent cleaning workload .

Ideal experience includes regularly cleaning multiple residential properties, working with recurring residential clients, working for a residential cleaning company, or operating an established residential cleaning business.

Please apply only if residential cleaning has been a consistent part of your previous work experience rather than occasional or one-off cleaning jobs.

Additional Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Smartphone and reliable communication
• Ability to pass a background check
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs.
• Professional references preferred
• Ability and willingness to work alongside other cleaning professionals when required

For 1099 independent contractor applicants: Your own cleaning supplies/equipment and appropriate business/general liability insurance may be required.

For W-2 applicants: Applicable employee onboarding, payroll, tax withholding, workers' compensation, equipment/supply arrangements, and other employment requirements will be handled according to the position and applicable law.
