CNC Machinist Position In Newark, CA

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC lathes, milling machines and other machining equipment.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, instructions, or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Take precise measurements for cutting, shaping, and finishing operations.
• Select appropriate machines, tooling, and settings for each task.
• Plan and sequence machining operations to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor production, adjusting feeds, speeds, and parameters as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for quality accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to accomplish production goals and related tasks.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
• Understanding of programming and operating CNC mills and lathes
• Must be able to basic math on the spot
• Background check and drug screen prior to start date.
