Audiologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to conduct VeteransBenefits Administration (VBA) Medical Disability Examinations (MDEs) as an independent contractor. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting Veterans throughout the disability evaluation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conductcomprehensive audiological evaluations for Veterans in accordance with VBAexamination guidelines.

• Perform hearingassessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech recognition testing,and tinnitus evaluations.

• Assess anddocument the severity and functional impact of hearing-related conditions.

• Completeaccurate, objective, and timely medical reports using standardized VBAdocumentation systems.

• Maintainprofessionalism, confidentiality, and a Veteran-centered approachthroughout the examination process.

• Provideindependent medical findings for disability determinations; no treatment,prescribing, or follow-up care is required.

Qualifications

• Doctor ofAudiology (Au.D.) or Master's Degree in Audiology from an accreditedprogram.

• Active,unrestricted Audiology license in the state where services are provided.

• Excellentclinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience withVA, VBA, Compensation & Pension (C&P), or disability evaluationsis preferred but not required.

• Ability toperform and interpret diagnostic audiological testing in compliance withestablished protocols.
