Blue Ridge Veterinary Clinic  has proudly provided affordable, high-quality veterinary care to the Greater Lehigh Valley for over 30 years. We’re a small, dedicated team known for our friendly and compassionate approach to animal care. As an independently owned clinic, we value collaboration and ensure every team member plays a meaningful role in supporting both patients and clients.

Clinic Hours

• Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Every other Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Summary We are looking for an experienced, organized, and compassionate  Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage front desk operations including client communication, appointment scheduling, and payment processing, while also supporting the veterinary team with key administrative tasks. Your work will be essential to creating a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for every visitor to our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming environment
• Schedule appointments appropriately and maintain accurate patient records
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly with professionalism and empathy
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff, using veterinary terminology
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Provide support to the veterinary team

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent veterinary receptionist experience is required. Candidate must be able to confidently use a computer.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow instructions, stay calm under pressure, and work in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to independently lift up to 30lbs; ability to kneel, bend, stand, sit, and type for up to 3 hours at a time
• A genuine passion for patient and client care
