Overview

We are seeking a Temp-to-Hire , reliable, detail-oriented 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead to guide our evening operations and keep our logistics running smoothly. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our office systems and our warehouse floor. What Success Looks Like

On a day-to-day basis, you will keep our shift organized and on schedule. Your shift begins at 2:30 PM and runs until 11:30 PM (or until the evening's work is completed on busier days). Here is what you will do to drive success:

• Driver Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing truck drivers. You will welcome them, verify their paperwork, direct them to the correct bays, and ensure clear communication throughout the loading and unloading process.
• Data Entry & Administration: Accurately input shipment information into our tracking systems, send updates via email, and handle occasional fax communications to keep our records up-to-date.
• Shift Leadership: Support the warehouse team by keeping workflows organized, troubleshooting minor issues as they arise, and ensuring safety standards are met on the floor.
• Long-Term Impact: Over time, you will help optimize our evening shipping schedules, improve data accuracy, and build strong, respectful relationships with our logistics partners and drivers.

What You Bring

Must-Have Requirements

• Strong Communication Skills: A friendly, professional, and confident personality with the ability to communicate clearly with drivers, warehouse personnel, and office staff.
• Computer Literacy: Comfort using computers daily, including experience with email, general digital navigation, and office equipment like scanners/fax machines.
• Accurate Data Entry: Strong attention to detail and speed when typing to ensure inventory and shipment logs are entered correctly.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, plus overtime on busy nights) and availability to work weekends as scheduled.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with AS 400 inventory software.
• Bilingual communication skills (Spanish/English) are a big plus, but we are happy to train the right individual who meets our other requirements.

Schedule Information

This is a full-time, 2nd-shift position. Standard hours are 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM, but you should expect to work past 11:30 PM on high-volume days. Weekend shifts are required based on business needs.
