OverviewA Group Copy Supervisor here at Razorfish Health would be tasked with partnering with our teams to lead copy development across one or more brands, ensuring clinical accuracy, editorial elegance and consistency in brand voice. In short, generate exceptional, appropriate copy and direct other copywriters to do the same. They would be responsible for leading and executing and executing long-form and short-form copy development for one or more brand engagements across HCP, DTC, and OTC audiences in the pharmaceutical marketing sector. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:ResponsibilitiesPartner with Creative, Account, and Client teams to ensure copy that advances creative brief objectives and accomplishes marketing objectivesBe the point person for original (directed) copy development on assigned client engagements, including both tactical projects (websites and interactive marketing applications), and creative campaignsPresent to, build relationships with, and find actionable paths forward based on the critiques of client MLR (medical, legal, regulatory) teamsParticipate fully in the development creative briefs and of strategic and tactical plansBe alert to changes in the client’s marketplace; evaluate work in light of the marketing situationWork with the client directly on developing solutions and presenting ideasWork more independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projectsArticulate a clear direction to studio, vendors, and junior staffHave expert knowledge of the science in order to use it innovativelyBegin to master nuances of the work and show ability to think on feetWork on multiple projects simultaneously and juggle writing demandsEnsure copy tone and style are consistent with brand and style guidelinesMake sound decisions in an expedient mannerUphold the highest standards for all agency work while upholding agency performance standards in all direct reportsQualificationsAt least 7-10+ years of professional writing experience in an advertising or interactive agencyMust have 1-3+ years of pharma or health/healthcare experienceProject lead and team leadership experience is requiredMust have strong experience working on large cross-channel and/or direct marketing initiatives including rich media, web, direct, and print. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
