This is a great opportunity to develop a meaningful career in construction materials testing, whether you are just starting out or already certified. We are looking for individuals who take initiative, enjoy working outdoors, and are committed to producing quality work.Compensation: $18-20/hour (depending on experience)Location: St. George/Hurricane, UTFLSA Exemption: Non-ExemptSchedule: Hours may varyWhat you'll be doing:Perform field tests on construction materials (e.g., soils, concrete, asphalt)Verify conformance to construction plans and specificationsAccurately complete daily field reports and datasheetsFollow testing procedures and safety guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorOperate and maintain testing equipment and company vehicleWhat you have:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license (required)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environmentsAbility to pass a drug testStrong attention to detail and initiativeWhat will make you stand out:WAQTC certification in Soils, Concrete, or AsphaltPrevious experience with field testingConsistent and accurate documentationWillingness to learn and grow with the companyPreferred Certification(s):WAQTC – SoilsWAQTC – ConcreteWAQTC – AsphaltNote: Candidates without certifications will be considered-CMT will provide training.CMT Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
