TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Seattle, Washington, 98104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Float Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Experience with telemetry and orthopedic/neuro-stroke patients Description: Travelers can have 1 of 3 major holidays off and must work 2 holidays (eve/day). All scheduled shifts are required, and the facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside of approved time off. No Christmas time off is allowed. The patient ratio is 1:4-5. First-time travelers not accepted. Weekend work is required every other week, and flexibility is expected. The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Floating will be expected to all acute care units, including behavioral health and respite. The daily census varies, with patients from diverse backgrounds. Experience with trauma and telemetry is preferred. Candidates should have good time management skills to split shifts as needed. This role includes high volumes on orthopedic floors, particularly with peripheral nerve catheters. Charting will be conducted using an electronic medical record system. Experience with titration of insulin drips is required. Two supervisory references will be needed. Compliance training may be required prior to start.
