Clarion Security is seeking dependable and professional Mobile Security Officers to conduct vehicle patrols, monitor client properties, and respond to security-related incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct mobile patrols of assigned properties and client locations to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security-related incidents.
• Perform routine security inspections of buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas, documenting observations and any unusual activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and client service requests.
• Control access to facilities by verifying credentials, visitor information, and authorization requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, employees, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns observed during patrols.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Follow all company procedures, post orders, and client-specific instructions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid, physical driver's license.
• Maintain a clean driving record that meets company and insurance carrier standards.
• Be eligible to operate a company vehicle in accordance with company policy and insurance carrier requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer to complete reports and communicate with management.
• Must pass all required background screening and licensing requirements, as applicable.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during patrols and security inspections.
• Ability to frequently enter and exit a vehicle throughout the shift.
• Ability to drive for extended periods while conducting mobile patrols.
• Ability to climb stairs and navigate uneven terrain when responding to incidents or conducting inspections.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed to perform security duties.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other environmental conditions.
• Ability to maintain awareness and respond quickly to emergencies and security-related incidents
• Ability to observe and identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns from a reasonable distance.
