See why our caregivers chose to come and stay to thrive.Serving the greater Portland Metro area across Multnomah and Clackamas Counties, including Clackamas, Happy Valley, Troutdale, Gresham, Gladstone, Milwaukee, N Portland, NE Portland, SE Portland, Canby, Molalla, and FairviewPay Range: $20 - $21/hr. + paid training and mileage reimbursementCurrent needsMonday through Friday (between the hours of 8 AM - 6 PM)Caregivers with experience in Hoyer's, Memory Care and Behavioral, a plus OR willing to trainCaregivers comfortable with pets and smokers in home!18 years+Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.Ability to pass a state and national background checkValid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record to get to client visitsAble to transport clients in their own vehicle requiredCaregiver Job DutiesHousehold chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)Cooking and/or serving mealsHelping clients bathe, dress, and groomProviding companionship through daily activities and hobbiesDriving clients (as needed) to the store or appointmentsMonitoring and reporting on their conditionOther activities of daily living as assignedWhy Family Resource Home Care?Flexible Scheduling. We pay you for your travel time and mileage in-between clients.Paid Orientation & Training. Apply and the recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients.
