Job Duties and Responsibilities Provides comprehensive and compassionate Patient Care , addressing acute and chronic conditions for diverse patient populations. Performs accurate Diagnosis of illnesses and injuries through thorough evaluation and appropriate testing. Develops individualized Treatment Planning that aligns with evidence-based medicine and patient preferences. Applies strong Clinical Reasoning to interpret complex medical information and make informed decisions. Maintains precise and timely documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) , ensuring continuity of care. Demonstrates excellent Communication Skills , effectively engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Conducts detailed Medical History Taking , gathering relevant information to inform diagnosis and treatment. Performs thorough Physical Examinations to assess patient health status and identify potential issues. Exercises sound judgment in Prescribing Medication , considering efficacy, safety, and patient-specific factors. Educates patients on Preventive Medicine strategies, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention. Required Qualifications Education Holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Completes an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or General Practice. Possesses a current and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice. Experience Demonstrates at least two years of post-residency clinical experience in a general practice or family medicine setting. Exhibits a proven track record of effective patient management and positive patient outcomes. Knowledge/Skills Possesses deep knowledge of primary care principles, common medical conditions, and treatment modalities. Applies expert skills in Patient Care , Diagnosis , and Treatment Planning . Utilizes advanced Clinical Reasoning to navigate complex medical cases. Shows proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management. Exhibits outstanding Communication Skills , both verbal and written, with diverse audiences. Excels in Medical History Taking and conducting comprehensive Physical Examinations . Demonstrates competence in Prescribing Medication safely and effectively. Emphasizes and practices principles of Preventive Medicine and health promotion. Preferred Qualifications Achieves Board Certification in Family Medicine or a related primary care specialty. Possesses experience with specific EHR platforms relevant to our organization. Demonstrates interest or experience in specific areas such as women''s health, pediatrics, or geriatrics. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during patient interactions and administrative tasks. Possesses manual dexterity to perform physical examinations and minor procedures. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally. Works in a clinical environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases and medical equipment. Manages a demanding workload and responds effectively to urgent patient needs. A minimum of two years of post-residency clinical experience in a general practice or family medicine setting is required, demonstrating effective patient management.
