\nUF Health Brownwood FSED is a modern, 25,000-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art trauma bays, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology including CT and X-ray, and laboratory and respiratory therapy services. The emergency department offers quality care from seasoned healthcare experts 24 hours a day.\n

Department Information \n

\n
• Annual visits: 24,000
\n
• 24/7 emergency care with X-ray, ultrasound, full lab, respiratory therapist, and CT available
\n
• EMR: EPIC
\n
• 28 beds including 2 trauma bays 
\n
• 12-hour shifts 
\n
• APC coverage
\n

\n
• PRN/part-time/full-time
\n
• Board certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or board certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with current EM experience and valid ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
\n
• Completion of an accredited residency program is required
\n
