Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,619 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Responsibilities As a Rad Tech, use diagnostic imaging equipment and ensure images are accurate for physician interpretation; prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Follow physician orders regarding which area of the body to image. Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment as needed. Minimize radiation exposure by applying appropriate protection precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records and understand/use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications 1 year of radiology technologist experience. BLS, ARRT (R) national certification, and state-specific licensing when required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
