Position Overview Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a new graduate or experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. Key Shared Attributes and Services State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs Key Responsibilities Provide attending coverage at our Level-III NICU All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage In‑house call and 24‑hour NNP coverage Level‑I coverage includes well‑baby care and back‑up coverage from home Professional Culture and Opportunities We value a team‑approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family‑centered unit. Qualifications Candidates must be NNP Board‑Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications) Not accepting new graduate candidates – 2+ years’ experience as NNP required Not accepting Locums candidates Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates Scheduling and Employment Details NNPs do 12‑hour shifts, with an option for 24‑hour shifts based on experience level NNPs work 156 hours a month (1872 hours a year)This is a permanent position and we are not seeking a commuter or someone who wants block schedules This is a permanent, full‑time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
