Excavator/Plumber

Good Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is hiring an experienced Excavator/Plumber for a full‑time year‑round position. The company, founded in 1949, now employs over 60 people and serves a broad residential and commercial customer base. Responsibilities and Duties New excavations for sanitary, water, rain, and gas lines. Excavation and repair of broken sewer and water lines, and locating well heads. Work in both residential and commercial environments, exterior and interior. Concrete slab cutting, hammering, removal, and restoration. Collaborate with plumbing installation or service teams to complete installations and repairs. Work a 5‑day week with opportunities for extra hours and weekend work throughout the year. Typical work day is 9 hours; overtime is paid after 40 hours. When not excavating, year‑round employment continues with assistance in plumbing system installation and repairs. Required Experience and Qualifications Operating JD30 or similar mini excavator. Operating Bobcat 418 or similar mini excavator. Operating skid loader. Use of hammer attachments. Use of walk‑behind concrete saw. Use of handheld concrete saw / cutoff saw for pipe. Operate a single‑axle dump truck (non‑CDL). Trailering equipment handling. Maintenance of equipment. Valid driver's license; medical card required. CDL license is a plus but not required. Familiar with One‑Call procedures and experience digging around utilities.
