Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students in a vibrant educational environment near Boston, MA. This full-time onsite role offers a balanced schedule across four days each week, totaling 32 hours, allowing focused work with a diverse caseload of students. Start making an impact on October 26, 2026, with the contract extending through mid-spring (March or April) of 2027. Your expertise will help empower students to reach their fullest potential through evaluations, progress reports, and direct therapeutic services.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (please request licensure upfront and be prepared to present documentation)
- Previous school-based OT experience is required
- Comfortable working onsite within a K-12 setting
- Ability to complete CORI search and fingerprinting before assignment
- Confident participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Responsibilities:
- Manage a K-12 student caseload, addressing a range of occupational therapy needs
- Conduct thorough evaluations and produce progress reports in compliance with school timelines and standards
- Deliver engaging direct services to support students’ development and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated care and support
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all school district policies
