A Farmers Insurance agency is looking for an Agency Sales Advisor to help grow the business by connecting with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and helping them find the right insurance solutions.

Previous insurance experience is a plus, but it isn’t required. We’re open to candidates from sales, retail, hospitality, banking, automotive, customer service, and other customer-facing backgrounds who are ready to learn and build a long-term career.

• Connect with prospective customers through agency-provided leads, referrals, outbound calls, and networking

• Ask questions to understand each customer’s needs, priorities, and current coverage

• Provide quotes and recommend Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance solutions

• Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain an organized sales pipeline

• Build relationships that lead to long-term customers, referrals, and additional opportunities

• Cross-sell coverage to help customers protect different areas of their lives

• Work toward individual and agency production goals

• Participate in ongoing coaching, sales training, and professional development

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to start conversations with new people

• A goal-oriented mindset and motivation to succeed in a performance-based environment

• Persistence and the ability to keep moving forward after hearing “no”

• Willingness to make outbound calls and consistently follow up with prospective customers

• Coachability and a genuine desire to improve your sales skills

• Strong organization and follow-through

• Previous sales, insurance, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required

• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licensing is preferred, or willingness to obtain the required licensing

Compensation Range: $55K - $85K
