Warehouse Specialist (WS) The primary role of the Warehouse Specialist involves loading, unloading, checking, and tallying tires to and from carriers (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans). This position selects, packs, counts, weighs, marks, and palletizes tires from customer orders and places them in the assigned staging areas according to the bin locator system. It ensures TireHub’s safety guidelines are met by proper unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking of tires. Monday through Saturday – Fluctuating day shift hours. Starting wage: $19.80 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment with TireHub. Role Specifics Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles. Selects, packs, counts, marks, and palletizes customer orders and places tires in staging areas per bin locator system. Operates order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment while adhering to safety guidelines. Performs required counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents. Participates in cycle counting and annual inventories. Participates in and maintains ongoing training through in‑class, in‑person, or computer‑based modules. Completes other tasks assigned by Leader or leadership members. Education / Experience Must be 18 years of age or older. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Ability to lift, pull, push, or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater, with or without mechanical assistance). Physically capable of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing repeatedly. Accurately unloads and places received tires in the warehouse. Loads outbound tires accurately and efficiently into delivery vehicles. Works at heights up to 35 feet while tethered. Certifies on and works up to 8 hours per day on a stand‑up order picker or forklift. Multitasks in a fast‑paced environment. Uses computer‑based programs, including an iPad. Works independently and as part of a team. Maintains a TireHub‑sponsored forklift certification. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities At least 1 year of general work experience. Working Conditions Physical demands include lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving tires (up to 50 lbs. or more) and performing repeated movements such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing. May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus. Works in varied settings, from non‑climate‑controlled warehouses to customer locations. Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturdays) may be required with minimal advance notice. Night driving and driving in inclement weather may be required. Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to ensure safe equipment operation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
