Join our dynamic FlexTrades team, as a TRAVELING CNC Mill Machinist specializing in 5-axis machining! We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about precision and quality. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced CNC milling machines to create high-quality components for a variety of industries. Responsibilities

Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines according to specifications and blueprints.
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate machining.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet required tolerances.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Mill Machinist, with a strong focus on 5-axis machining.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

Pay/Compensation Details:

Hourly rate: $36 to $40 per hour (time and half over time pay after 40 hours worked)
Guaranteed 50 hours per week
Daily allowance of $45 for food/personal expenses (tax-free) - 7 days per week
Hotel accommodation booked and paid for by FlexTrades – just check in! (And yes, you can bring along family, pets, or a partner)
Health insurance options
Reimbursement for travel at $25 per hour for drive time (personal vehicle)
