Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care for Elders Unit

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Daly 6A Acute Care for Elders unit!

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

• Daly 6A is a dedicated, growing team, with an engaged Manager, committed to the professional growth and development of her team, and dedicated to patient experience.
• Daly 6A is the Acute Care for Elders unit (ACE) unit. Providing care for the older adult patient population with 39 beds, 16 semi- private rooms, and 5 rooms for end-of-life care.
• This unit offers participation in nurse driven change projects, great nursing ratios, and optimal support staff.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-Time, Night shift (7p-7a)
• Every other weekend & rotating holidays
• Baystate Medical Center, Springfield MA

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Education: AND required; BSN preferred.

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
