Registered Nurse – Radiation Oncology

Schedule: Working 4-10's; weekdays.

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• RN with current license in good standing
• BLS through American Heart Association
• ACLS through American Heart Association
• At least 2 years of RN Radiation Oncology experience
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of chronic illness and comorbidity management
• Current knowledge of latest trends in hematology/oncology and internal medicine practice

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide nursing interventions for patients undergoing radiation treatment.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology Team to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide teaching, counseling, and support to patients and families.
• Liaise between various healthcare teams and support services.
• Coordinate referrals for additional patient resources as needed.
