Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Georgia (Multiple locations)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 36 hours guaranteed/week, with expectation of working up to 40 hours/week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract assignment in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have prior outpatient physical therapy experience and be comfortable managing a high-volume patient caseload.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy interventions based on patient-specific needs and diagnoses.
- Treat outpatient orthopedic patients and monitor their progress throughout the course of care.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual therapy, and other appropriate PT interventions.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge information accurately.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical findings.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and appropriate self-management techniques.
- Maintain productivity expectations while providing safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous professional PT experience required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- Strong orthopedic rehabilitation experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a high-volume outpatient environment
Productivity & Work Expectations
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
- Expected to work up to 40 hours/week
- Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week
- Expected daily volume: 12–14 patients/day
- Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
- Any overtime must be approved by the Director before OT hours are worked

- No floating to other clinics
- No travel-team option at this clinic or neighboring clinics
