Data Architect

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Irving, TX. Duties:
- Data Architect will design and build relational database models and define data requirements to meet the business needs
- Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of databases
- Foster value creation from the use of the internal organization's data assets, as well as from the external data ecosystem
- Source the value through envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policy
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
- Ten or more years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data visualization
- Strong experience and expertise in Java, SQL and Azure Cloud technologies
- Good experience and expertise in Synapse, Presto, Spark SQL, Druid, SuperSet
- Prior experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Azure Spark pool and building/managing large scale data warehouse is a plus
- Previous experience in building data products
- Experience in python/R/SAS/SQL for data extraction, data mining, and predictive analytic
- Very knowledgeable in Apache Airflow
- Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Proficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices
- Effective communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
