Hospice Center Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights (Healthcare) Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift The Partners In Hope Foundation, in collaboration with Partners In Home Care, is hiring a Hospice RN to join our team at the Hope Hospice Center. This position provides skilled, compassionate nursing care in an inpatient hospice setting, focusing on ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life for terminally ill patients. In this role, the RN supervises and directs non-unionized Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans, and supports patients and families through the end-of-life journey. Location: Hope Hospice Center - Missoula, MT Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Nights: Rotating | (.9 FTE) Essential Responsibilities: Patient Care & Symptom Management Deliver comprehensive nursing care to terminally ill patients, with a focus on comfort and symptom management. Administer medications and interventions per physician orders. Continuously assess patient needs and ensure a dignified, comfortable end-of-life experience. Supervision & Delegation to CNAs Provide guidance and oversight to non-unionized CNAs to ensure quality personal care and adherence to patient care plans. Delegate appropriate nursing support tasks (ADLs, hygiene, mobility) while ensuring safety and compassion. Monitor CNA documentation for accuracy and completeness. Offer real-time feedback and mentorship in a respectful, team-oriented environment. Interdisciplinary Collaboration Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) rounds. Contribute to care planning, symptom management strategies, and family education. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care. Family & Caregiver Support Provide emotional support, guidance, and education to families and caregivers. Help them navigate the physical and emotional challenges of end-of-life care. Documentation & Compliance Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and communications. Ensure all care aligns with regulatory and quality standards. Infection Control & Safety Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
