Medical Technologist position in a hospital laboratory setting located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The assignment starts on 07/06/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Earn $1,620 to $1,686 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is a night schedule (10:30 PM–7:00 AM) with every 4th weekend rotation. This travel temporary assignment is open to qualified Med Technologists and Med Lab Scientists; Med Lab Technicians will not be considered. Note: no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis on patient specimens across standard laboratory disciplines.
- Prepare specimens, operate automated analyzers, and utilize microscopy as required.
- Carry out quality control procedures, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and instrument troubleshooting.
- Document results accurately, ensure proper specimen labeling, and communicate findings to appropriate care teams in a timely manner.
- Follow CLIA, safety, and regulatory guidelines; participate in safety and quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff and clinicians to resolve testing issues and ensure efficient workflow and accurate reporting.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the medical laboratory specialty
- Certifications: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS (one or more accepted)
- Ability to work a night shift in a hospital laboratory environment and manage a 40-hour week
- Demonstrated competence in specimen handling, instrument operation, and result reporting
- Must be willing to work at the Lawrenceville, GA location for the duration of the assignment
- Med Technologist or Med Lab Scientist level candidates only; Med Lab Technician will not be considered
