We’relookingforaSeniorDataEngineertodesignandbuildscalabledatasolutionsthatturncomplexbusinessdataintoreliable,actionableinsights.You’llowncriticaldatainfrastructure,pipelines,integrations,andwarehousesolutionsthatsupportoperations,analytics,andcompany-widegrowth.
You’llworkcloselywithDataAnalysts,technologyteams,andbusinessleaderstobuildreliablesystems,improvedataaccessibility,andsolvechallengingproblemsacrossagrowing,multi-locationorganization.
Key Responsibilities
- DesignandmaintainscalableETL/ELTpipelinesusingPython,SQL,DBT,andrelatedtools.
- BuildandmanagedataintegrationsandAPIsacrossbusinesssystems.
- OptimizeSnowflake,MySQL,andSQLServerdatabasesanddatamodels.
- OrchestrateandmonitorworkflowsusingAirfloworsimilarplatforms.
- Integratedatafromon-sitesystems,cloudapplications,andthird-partyplatforms.
- Implementdataquality,security,accesscontrols,andgovernancebestpractices.
- PartnerwithDataAnalyststoimprovereporting,analytics,anddataaccessibility.
- UseGitandCI/CDtosupportreliabledevelopmentanddeployment.
- LeveragecloudplatformssuchasAWS,GoogleCloud,Azure,orDigitalOcean.
- Troubleshootcomplexdataandsystemissuesandcontinuouslyimproveourdatainfrastructure.
- Providetechnicalleadershipandmentorshipwhilehelpingshapeourlong-termdatastrategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’sdegreeinComputerScience,SoftwareEngineering,orrelatedfieldor8+yearsofhands-onsoftwareengineeringexperience
- StrongproficiencydesigningandmaintainingETLpipelines
- Deepunderstandingofdatabasemanagement,SQLoptimization,dataanalyticsanddatawarehousing
- ExperiencewithPHP,Node.js,JavaScript,Python,andC#
- ExperiencewithframeworkssuchasLaravel,Express.js,orWordPress
- Familiaritywithcloudcomputingplatforms(AWS,GCP,Azure)
- KnowledgeofAPIdesign,CI/CDpipelines,Gitversioncontrol,andAgilemethodologies
- Strongproblem-solvingskillsandabilitytomanagemultiplepriorities
- Excellentcommunicationskillsandabilitytocollaboratecross-functionally
