Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date: 08/17/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,956–$2,071 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Days. Setting: clinic-based travel assignment with Med-Surg duties.

This travel RN position requires strong telemetry and step-down background, with responsibility for care across related Med-Surg units as needed. The role emphasizes Epic EMR documentation, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with the care team. No on-call requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Monitor patient status, interpret and respond to telemetry readings as part of ongoing care
- Administer medications and perform basic IV therapy and other standard treatments
- Document accurately in the Epic EMR and maintain up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning, patient education, and safety measures
- Float to related Med-Surg units as needed (Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation) and adapt to unit-specific protocols

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of current Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; able to read Telemetry; competency tested on day one
- Epic EMR proficiency required (refresher classes or 1:1 onboarding is not available)
- Active BLS certification
- Day shift with every other weekend requirement; no call
- Ability to work effectively in a Med-Surg clinic setting and to float across related units as needed
