Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support plant operations by keeping our production equipment running safely and reliably. This role is a hands-on industrial maintenance position that includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, equipment installs, and repairs.

A major part of this role includes working with equipment involving PLCs and VFDs, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and making repairs. While you'll work around PLC-controlled systems, we're looking for a technician who can keep the equipment running, minimize downtime, and support production success.

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager / Plant Manager

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

• Performing routine preventative maintenance (PMs) to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
• Diagnosing and servicing equipment that includes PLCs and VFDs (repair/troubleshooting required; programming not required)
• Supporting new equipment installation projects and plant expansion efforts
• Working with vendors to support equipment installs, service, and troubleshooting needs
• Completing maintenance work safely, efficiently, and with a production-focused mindset

Who We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience required including electrical motor controls
• Preferred: Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment involving PLCs and VFD systems (programming experience not required)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience working with the following:
• Belt conveyors
• Mixers
• Augers
• Replacement of bearings, including pillow block, flange, sleeved, tapered, and non-tapered roller bearings
• Head and tail belt pulleys
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities
• Ability to work independently, prioritize maintenance issues effectively, and communicate clearly with production and maintenance teams
• Demonstrated safety-first mindset with a commitment to producing reliable, high-quality work
