As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for validating analog/digital blocks for various sensors, including image sensors, dToF sensors, and ALS sensors. You will also support the development and upgrading of test stations/systems in our labs to accommodate emerging sensor technologies.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to perform validation tests for image sensors and ALS sensorsCollect and analyze test data to correlate it with performance metricsSupport debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving effortsDevelop new imaging sensor test methodologies to evaluate sensor performance based on MR/AR/SG and other wearable applicationsCollaborate with image sensor teams, computer vision scientists, module/optical experts, and sensor architects to evaluate next-generation sensor technologiesProvide high-quality electrical/optical test infrastructure and identify ways to improve existing capabilities and add new onesQualificationsBS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline3+ years of experience in image sensor validation, with the ability to review and author formal validation plans and reportsProficiency with data collection and analysis tools, including C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languagesExperience with electrical and functional validation in a lab environment, including experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, sourcemeters, function generators, and multimeters •Experience with Optical Test Bench setupBasic understanding of I2C/I3C/C-PHY/D-PHY MIPI protocolsBasic understanding of image sensor operationStrong analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from complex datasets and present them at a high level.Years of experience:3-4 Years of Experience in Must-Have SkillsMust have:Heavy experience using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi meter equipmentGood understanding of protocols such as MIPI/I2C/I3C2-3 years experience with CMOS image sensors, validation, and image sensor performance analysisAbility to script/analyze/understand Python/MATLABExperience working in an electro-optical lab environmentExperience in instrumentation automationNice to have:Masters DegreeExperience in MIPI, C-PHY, I3C, hg/git version controlUnderstanding of Image Sensor operationUnderstanding of Camera Hardware/System architectureAbility to independently bring up existing hardware/test setup based on validation taskAbility to understand key features and design test procedure for key featureEducation;BS in EE, CSE, Physics or relatedSRI Tech Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, national origin or citizenship status or ethnic origin, disability, marital status, veteran status, or any other occupationally irrelevant criteria.
