Job Title: Maintenance Storeroom Clerk
Location: Downingtown, PA
Pay: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Overtime As Needed

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Storeroom Clerk to support maintenance and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing parts, maintaining accurate records, coordinating repairs and returns, and ensuring the storeroom remains organized and fully stocked.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with inventory control, warehouse, maintenance storeroom, or SAP experience who enjoy working independently while supporting a larger team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage storeroom inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels
• Receive, inspect, stock, and issue maintenance and operating supplies
• Create and maintain purchase orders for maintenance-related materials
• Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in SAP
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
• Coordinate repair and return programs, including tracking and documentation
• Follow up on open, outstanding, and backordered purchase orders
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, repairs, and returns
• Support inventory improvement initiatives and KPI tracking
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment
• Provide excellent customer service to maintenance and production teams

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of inventory, storeroom, warehouse, or related experience
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, communication, and recordkeeping skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred:

• Associate Degree
• Previous SAP experience
• Experience in manufacturing or maintenance storeroom operations
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control practices

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Operate a forklift and walk-behind pallet jack/hand truck
• Work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
