Zing is hiring an experienced Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician to join a growing team servicing commercial fire sprinkler systems throughout the Maryland region. If you have hands‑on sprinkler service experience, know NFPA codes, and enjoy troubleshooting in the field, this is an excellent opportunity with strong earning potential and long‑term stability. What You’ll Do Perform inspections, testing, service, and repairs on fire sprinkler systems Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system issues Identify code deficiencies and recommend corrective actions Interpret and apply NFPA 25 standards during inspections Complete accurate service reports and documentation Communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers Participate in an on‑call rotation Perform fire pump flow testing (preferred) What We’re Looking For 2+ years of fire sprinkler inspection and repair experience Strong knowledge of NFPA codes Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 points or fewer) Minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience Ability to work from ladders and aerial lifts Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs and working in confined spaces Strong organizational and communication skills NICET certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus Schedule Monday through Friday Typical hours between 5:00 AM and 6:00 PM On‑call rotation required Pay & Perks $30 to $50 per hour, based on experience Time and a half for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 5:00 AM Four‑hour minimum at time and a half for emergency service calls Four‑hour minimum at double time for holiday emergency calls, plus holiday pay 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company‑paid life insurance, short‑term disability, and long‑term disability Paid vacation, personal time, and holidays Tuition reimbursement Pre‑tax health and dependent care accounts Aflac supplemental insurance Why Join?
