Tax/Accounting Senior Manager – Public Accounting
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
We are seeking an experienced Tax/Accounting Senior Manager to lead client engagements, oversee tax and accounting operations, and mentor a high-performing team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients while driving strategic growth and delivering exceptional financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple tax, accounting, compliance, and consulting engagements across industries including real estate, non-profit, and corporate.
• Review and prepare financial statements, tax returns, reconciliations, and financial analyses using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Advise clients on tax planning, mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements while strengthening internal controls.
• Mentor and develop accounting professionals, manage client relationships, and communicate complex financial information effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA required; CFA or CMA is a plus.
• Extensive public accounting experience with expertise in tax, audit, corporate accounting, and technical accounting.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Proven leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements.
