This position is within Behavioral Health Float. The RN will be floated to multiple units./liliOur inpatient psychiatric services provide short-term stabilization and treatment for mental health disorders. We provide care in a secure calm environment where patients can focus on healing. Daily psychiatrist visits and around-the-clock medical supervision help patients on their journey to better mental health./li/ulpLocation: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ)./ppKey Roles and Responsibilities:/pulliDevelops and maintains a plan of nursing care based on goals derived from identified needs; revises the patients individualized plan of care as indicated/liliImplements individualized nursing plan of care, consistent with established policies, procedures, and protocols/liliEvaluates and documents patient responses to nursing care, and participates in evaluating and improving the delivery of care on the unit/liliDemonstrates accuracy in entering medication orders on the computer and medication administration/liliProvides appropriate coordination of care and intervention to patients undergoing a psychiatric or medical emergency/li/ulpScheduling Requirements (Tier 1):/pulliThe day shift is considered 11pm-7am/liliWork a minimum of one weekend per 4-week schedule (Consecutive Saturday/Sunday)/liliTwo holidays per year (1 minor and 1 major)/liliOne difficult to staff days per year/li/ulpWhat We Require for this Role:/ppEducation/pulliBachelors degree required, or in pursuit of/liliA registered nurse with an Associates Degree with greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered./li/ulpRelated Work Experience/pulli15 months of RN experience required/liliPsych experience preferred./li/ulpLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT/pulliBasic Life Support (BLS) required./liliActive RN NJ license required./li/ulpWe believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
